Mornings at Reynolda: Woodpeckers
To promote reading readiness and visual literacy, preschoolers and their caregivers explore Reynolda through activities that encourage dramatic play, music, movement, nature exploration, and art-making. Students will interact with a natural theme, work of art, location on the estate, or item from Reynolda’s collection for inspiration.
The program takes place in the Gardens and grounds (we encourage you to bring a blanket) and indoors at the Museum. We provide all materials, however, participants may collect their own natural items. In the event of inclement weather, programs held outdoors may be moved indoors, canceled, or rescheduled.
In Series 2, we explore seasonal signs and sounds in the nature and art of Reynolda.
Sign up for one or all three! The sessions build upon each other, though families may choose to register for single sessions as well.
