Reynolda: In Context

Reynolda’s story embodies the complicated history of the twentieth-century American South. Today, the Museum explores the interconnections of family, labor, health, and philanthropy as they relate to tobacco industrialist, R.J. Reynolds, and his wife, Katharine Smith Reynolds.

Join us for programs where we will examine the estate’s history through its architecture, oral histories, and surviving documents.
