Community Day: Picturing Freedom

This fall, Reynolda commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States with Community Day, celebrating freedom of expression to bring communities together.
Open to all ages, Reynolda invites visitors to engage in art, history, and creativity while reflecting on our past, present, and future. Through special art activities, performances, and the exhibitions Flash Point: The Civil Rights Photography of Danny Lyon and Art & Democracy, visitors will discover the artists and activists who have shaped and continue to shape our country.
Museum admission is free all day, and free activities will take place from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. We look forward to welcoming you to Reynolda!

Art activities will be available on the lawn from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., hosted by our community partners:

Pre-registration is encouraged but not required to attend.
*In case of inclement weather, the performances and hands-on art activities will be modified to take place inside the Museum.
