Join co-curators Phil Archer, Betsy Main Babcock Deputy Director, and Ashley Givens, adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Art at Wake Forest University, for an insightful look at Flash Point: The Civil Rights Photography of Danny Lyon.
In this curator talk, Archer and Givens dive into the lens of Danny Lyon, one of the most significant documentary photographers of the twentieth century. Hear their unique curatorial viewpoints and they examine how Lyon’s photographs served as a flash point for social change and how their legacy continues to resonate today.
