Reynolda Read Aloud: The Mitten StoryWalk ®
Location: Reynolda House Museum of American Art - Jordan Courtyard
Cost: FREE
Bundle up and join us on the woodland trail for a StoryWalk® featuring Jan Brett’s beloved tale, The Mitten. As you stroll along the path, the story will unfold page by page, inviting emerging readers to immerse themselves in the narrative set in a woodland environment.
At the entrance to the Woodland Trail, children will discover interactive story stations where they can step into the story—re-enacting scenes, exploring different textures, and imagining what it might be like to crawl inside a mitten themselves! Perfect for young children and early readers, this outdoor experience blends storytelling, movement, and playful learning in a festive, nature-filled setting.
Recommended Age 2-8 accompanied by an adult.
Pre-registration is encouraged.
