Tissue Paper Landscape Collage

ages 5+

Students tear and glue tissue paper to create a colorful landscape. Finished works need time to dry at the Museum. We will mount them on a background and arrange with you to pick up the completed works.

With 8-24 students, this can be completed as part of the 90-minute tour.
With 25-48 students, total visit time is 2 hours.

Accommodations

We offer this for visitors of a range of ages and physical abilities. The project can involve fine motor skills (ripping paper) or less fine (grabbing, holding, and placing pre-cut squares). Glueing is done by holding a glue brush, dipping, tapping, and brushing. This part can be done by a museum volunteer or group chaperone if needed.
