Blind Embossed Prints
available March 17 – May 29, 2026, in connection with the exhibition Layered Looking: Making Sense of Art.
3rd-12th grade
Limit: 24 students
Using rag paper and flat objects, students can create a small embossed print on an etching press. Inspired by Harry Smith’s Untitled (1982) print.
- With 8-24 students, this can be completed as part of a 90-minute tour focused on the exhibition only, or we can add an additional 30 minutes for more extensive time spent planning the work of art.
