Found Object Sculptures

available March 17 – May 29, 2026 in connection with the exhibition Layered Looking: Making Sense of Art

3rd-12th grade

Using clean “junk,” a.k.a. “found objects,” students can create a small sculpture inspired by Nam June Paik’s Leonardo da Vinci (1991). Students will consider different methods of construction and use multiple materials. 

• With 8-24 students, visit time for tour + workshop is 105 minutes, with 60 minutes for a tour and 45 minutes for art-making. 
• With 25-48 students, total visit time is 2 hours.
