Museum tours for classes of elementary, middle, and high school students are available by reservation between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. Currently, the maximum group size for an in-person school tour is 48 students. Students will be divided into small groups of six to eight for their tour. The cost is $3 per student plus tax. Teachers and chaperones are free. We encourage a ratio of 1 adult to 8 students. Tours last 90 minutes. Self-guided options are available. Virtual visits with an educator may be an alternative to in-person tours.
After reviewing tour options, contact Stephani Eaton, coordinator of tours and volunteers, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 336.758.5389 to plan and schedule a tour or virtual visit with your students. Please submit requests at least three weeks before your desired field trip date.
